Joseph's opened in May 2010 and has already made a name for itself locally and is proud to boast that people drive from afar to experience what we offer. The food is modern British and served in a beamed Grade 2 listed cottage in the heart of the beautiful village of Felsted, 10 minutes from Dunmow. David's key staff include Andrew Clements and Leighanne Ship.
We serve lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on Sunday mornings.
With local produce sourced whenever possible, we offer delicious high quality meat, fish, pasta and a variety of vegetarian dishes. Our breads and chutneys are homemade, our desserts and cheeses very tempting. Our carefully chosen wine list will complement any of our beautiful dishes.
Our menu is changed daily and Joseph’s signature Beef Wellington is always on the menu.
Our Lightpocket lunch is £10 for 2 courses or £7.50 for one.
For early diners between 5 - 6.30pm, our dinner menu is priced at £15 for 2 courses or £20 for 3 courses and your little ones can come with you and choose from their own Little Diners menu for just £5. Thereafter it is £23 for 2 courses and £28 for 3 courses.
We are doing our evening menu for £15 for Two Courses and £20 for Three Courses all evening on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings only.
So whether it is an intimate dinner for 2, a family celebration in our private room or just a stroll through the village for our relaxing brunch, you will always be made very welcome.
